Vista Higher Learning Store Help
All textbook packages sold in our store include a Supersite code. If you have a used textbook you will not have a code, as they are non-transferable and cannot be reused or reset once they have been activated.
If applicable, the code contained in the package purchased will be emailed to you immediately upon purchase. This includes Supersite codes, WebSAM codes, Supersite Plus codes, vText codes, and En línea codes. The code(s) purchased on your order will be displayed on your screen upon order confirmation and will also be included in your confirmation e-mail which you should receive shortly after your order is completed. This code is 12 letters and is listed under ‘Vista Higher Learning code’ on your emailed order confirmation. (Make sure you check your Spam/Junk folders.) We recommend that you print out your confirmation screen just in case this e-mail does not reach you. If you have a used book, you can purchase a new code for all programs other than ¡Adelante!, Invitaciones, or Hola, ¿qué tal?. These titles are considered consumable worktexts that are intended to be written in and therefore only used by one student. In order to receive a Supersite code for one of those texts, you will have to purchase a new textbook.

Returning orders that contain physical items:
Customers are eligible to return physical materials purchased from the Vista Higher Learning store within 30 days of the purchase date. All returned materials must be in new, unmarked, unused and saleable condition. Shrink-wrapped packaging must remain unopened. Opened shrink-wrapped items are non-returnable. If material is sent back to us in non-saleable condition, the items will not be returned and credit will not be issued.
We do not issue partial credit. If you purchased a package and only return a component of the package, the item will not be returned and no credit will be issued. If your package included a code that was emailed at the time of purchase and all physical items included are returned, you will receive full credit and the code included will be deactivated upon receipt of your physical items at our warehouse.
Out of print editions are non-returnable.
When making a return, you are responsible for all transportation costs incurred. Materials must be shipped via a traceable method of your choice to:

You do not need an authorization number to make a return, however, please include a copy of your packing slip with the shipment. If you do not have a copy of your packing slip, please make sure to include your order number and/or the name on the order. If nothing is included with the package and we are unable to determine which order was returned, no credit will be issued.
VHL is not responsible for return shipments lost in transit.
Refunds take up to 30 days to process after the materials are received at our warehouse.
Returning orders that contain an online code only:
Customers are eligible to return eDelivery codes purchased from our website within 30 days of the purchase date, even if they have already been activated. This includes all codes: Supersite, WebSAM, Supersite Plus, Supersite Plus Upgrade, vText and En línea.
Please e-mail your request for a refund to our Customer Service department at email@example.com. Be sure to include your order number and full name in your email. Your code(s) will be deactivated once we receive your refund request. The refund will be issued to the credit card used to place the order. Refunds take up to 30 days to process after cancellation request received.
All orders take 1-2 days for processing and ship from Wisconsin. Transit times vary depending on location and shipping method selected at time of checkout. We offer the following shipping methods for physical items:
- UPS Ground (Free on all U.S. orders over $50)
- UPS 2nd Day Air (rate will be calculated and displayed at time of checkout)
- UPS Next Day Air (rate will be calculated and displayed at time of checkout)
- USPS Priority Mail (when shipping to P.O. Boxes only)
You will be able to choose the shipping method you prefer at the time of checkout.
We only accept payment with a credit card. We accept the following credit cards:

Vista Higher Learning is required by law to charge local sales tax for orders shipped to most states.
Sales tax rates vary by state. Compliance is one aspect of a company’s State and Local Tax (SALT) picture that it cannot ignore – and compliance becomes more challenging in a tight economy. State and Local taxing jurisdictions are seeing tax revenues contract. Therefore, states are being more aggressive in pursuing tax revenue.
Vista Higher Learning, Inc. has addressed their state and local tax exposure through an in-depth due diligence process. If sales and/or use tax is required to be assessed on your order, we will assess the appropriate state and local county tax rates and remit to the proper taxing authority on your behalf. This will eliminate your burden of self-assessment.

ISBN stands for “International Standard Book Number.” Each item has its own individual ISBN. This ISBN number can be used to search our products. There is a 10-digit and a 13-digit ISBN for each item and for each package.
