eCommerce Manager

We’re looking for an experienced, collaborative and creative eCommerce Manager to oversee and drive our eCommerce Strategy and implementation. In this dynamic role you will sit at the axis of our Technology and Marketing teams and as such, are able to leverage your deep understanding of both to elevate, roadmap and deploy new eCommerce strategies as well as online marketing, email marketing and website design projects. Successful candidates are passionate about marketing, technology, culture and travel and have hands-on experience building robust eCommerce strategies in close collaboration with Technology & Marketing stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan and execute effective eCommerce strategies
  • Manage corporate and eCommerce websites, systems, and integrations
  • Identify, negotiate and manage project related contractors and vendors as necessary
  • Create and manage budgets, project requirements, and schedules for eCommerce tasks and projects, including technical development and maintenance efforts
  • Partner with IT and Software Development teams on Magento 2 site maintenance, system integrations, and eCommerce development
  • Manage SEM, SEO, email, and retargeting channels related to eCommerce efforts
  • Manage webinar and online training system as well as other online systems as needed to support online marketing strategies
  • Benchmark, measure, analyze, and report on results of eCommerce and online marketing initiatives such as web store sales, email campaigns, SEM, and SEO
  • Advocate best practices and research new industry trends/opportunities for increased web store sales and other online marketing efforts.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of new eCommerce strategies and ensure high quality website design and development
  • Work collaboratively and productively with numerous internal stakeholders
  • Serve as a marketing expert and evangelist both internally and externally
  • Able to mentor, coach and manage less experienced team members

Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in Marketing, Business and or Sales
  • 3+ years’ experience managing B2C and B2B eCommerce environment
  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise applications within education, training or similar markets
  • Experience managing digital projects, programs and/or services
  • Strong project and budget management skills
  • Experience managing global vendors and service providers
  • Certification in Magento 2.0 preferred
  • Strong HTML skills, preferably including HTML5 and responsive email HTML;
  • Strong familiarity of Google Analytics
  • Experience with Pardot Marketing automation or similar Marketing automation systems preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar CRM systems preferred
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
