eCommerce Program Manager

As an eCommerce Program Manager you help manage our eCommerce operations, including our web store, online marketing catalogs, and corporate website to help us execute our strategic vision for our customer, product and business strategies. In this capacity, you are responsible for content management, campaign design and delivery, and the technical development and administration of marketing systems and services. As a strategic champion of our eCommerce initiatives, you will partner closely with key stakeholders in the areas of Marketing, Technology and Sales. Additionally, you’ll also actively engage in supporting search optimization, customer analytics, and customer acquisition strategies and processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the marketing and technology teams, manage technical eCommerce systems, services and integrations, including Magento and Google Analytics, that operate the web store, marketing catalogs, and corporate website.
  • Manage website and marketing campaign content creation, production, and delivery.
  • Manage and oversee external resources, including development and support vendors and freelance content and design providers. 
  • Manage budgets for resources and services.
  • Create and manage schedules for eCommerce tasks and projects, including technical development and maintenance efforts for the web store and corporate website.
  • Ensure customer-facing sites and services employ high-quality, usable, and effective visual designs and copy.
  • Support and manage the SEO and select marketing automation process and projects.
  • Collaborate with key VHL stakeholders and customers to create and manage an eCommerce “roadmap” for future features and requirements.
  • Research industry trends and implement new strategies that benefit the effectiveness of our eCommerce efforts.
  • Benchmark, measure and analyze results for our eCommerce strategies and initiatives. Provide internal stakeholders and senior management with reports and analysis on these results.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing digital projects, programs, or services. Demonstrated success delivering enterprise applications within education, training, or similar markets
  • Two years of eCommerce applications, systems, and storefronts management preferred
  • Experience working with global teams, vendors and service providers.
  • Highly collaborative with experience working with marketing, communications, and technology teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Comfort and demonstrated expertise working with multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity and/or experience with Magento, Google Analytics, Salesforce CRM, and marketing automation tools.
