Developed specifically for high school and middle school teachers using Supersite 3.0, this free 90-minute webinar is a “must” for first-time Supersite users and seasoned pros alike. Join hosts Ricky Adamson and Cheryl Kincaid and your fellow colleagues in exploring new ways the Supersite can be used to engage and motivate your students.

Access information for all sessions

  1. To join a session, click the following Web link: http://vistahigherlearning.adobeconnect.com/r84hlma1tbj/ (or copy and paste it into a new browser page) no sooner than 15 minutes before the session begins. If you arrive before the host starts the meeting, the login page may display the message "the meeting has ended." You may login only after the host arrives, so try clicking the meeting link again in a minute or two.
  2. At the meeting login page, select to enter the meeting as a guest.
  3. Type in your first and last name as you wish them to appear to the host and other session participants.
  4. Click Enter.
  5. To join the audio portion of the meeting, call 1-877-826-6966, and when prompted, enter the following conference pass-code: 849 970 1823
  6. Press # on your telephone key pad to be joined into the audio conference portion of the session. If the host has not yet started the session, you will be prompted to wait.

You do not need to register in advance for any session, nor do you need a username or password. Note that sessions close within five minutes after the scheduled session start time; please plan to join early in case you encounter any technical difficulties.

System requirements

There is both an Internet component and a telephone component to each session. Make sure you can access both the Internet and the phone call simultaneously. In order to attend this event you will need the Adobe Connect Pro add-in, along with a supported version of Adobe Flash Player.

If you have any difficulties connecting to a session, contact the Adobe Connect Pro Help Desk at 1.800.422.3623; for general assistance select 2 at the prompt or for assistance; during an online meeting select 1. If you have already joined the telephone portion of a session and need technical assistance, you may press *0 on your telephone key pad; select 1 for assistance with the audio conference or select 2 for assistance with the online portion of the meeting.

Cheryl Kincaid
Cheryl holds a B.A. in Spanish Education and has taught Spanish for twelve years in various public schools throughout Virginia.  She has worked as a presenter and consultant with Vista Higher Learning for the past seven years, providing presentations and workshops in VHL materials and second-language acquisition in schools, school districts, and at state and regional conferences.

Ricky Adamson
Ricky Adamson holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Foreign Language Education. He is a veteran educator with over 20 years of experience as a French teacher, Academic Facilitator, and Director of World Languages. Additionally he has written teacher and student materials for Vista Higher Learning and other publishers. He has presented locally, regionally, and nationally on diverse topics affecting world language classrooms.
