Ricky Adamson holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Foreign Language Education. He is a veteran educator with over 20 years of experience as a French teacher, Academic Facilitator, and Director of World Languages. Additionally, Ricky has written teacher and student materials for Vista Higher Learning and other publishers. He has presented locally, regionally, and nationally on diverse topics affecting world language classrooms.
Nilda Rivera began her teaching career as a History, French, and Theater teacher for grades 3–12 and then Spanish for native speakers in grades 6–9. While at Tulane University in New Orleans, Nilda began teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. She taught all levels of High School Spanish at Jesuit High School of New Orleans from 2010 – 2017. Nilda received the Profile of the Jesuit Teacher Award in 2014 for her commitment to the formation of her students as lifelong learners. She lived in Madrid as a Fulbright Scholar; holds an M.A. in Spanish from Tulane University and a B.A. in History from the University of Puerto Rico-Cayey; and studied Comparative Literature and Theater at the University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras.
