I’ve always had a desire to travel and learn different cultures, embrace new experiences, and gain a better understanding of various aspects of the world. It’s very intriguing to have the opportunity to share similar wishes and partner with faculty about the importance of modern languages and help improve students’ lives through these connections and learning.
My passion for travel and modern languages began when I had the opportunity to take a trip to Europe during college where I visited several European countries. I quickly saw the importance of being bilingual in an area where so many surrounding borders impacts individuals speaking various languages. Throughout college I continued to seek out opportunities to join elite programs, partnering with faculty and students who allowed me to better my community and grow my passion for education. Being able to combine my passion for education and trans-cultural connections every day feels like the perfect home for me!
