The best part about learning a new language is being able to explore exciting places, meet new people, and learn about different cultures. I recently studied in Antigua, Guatemala, and the stunning natural landscape and the warmth of the country’s people were absolutely incredible. I loved learning about Guatemala’s rich history, and as someone who appreciates art, I found the vibrant paintings and tapestry weavings to be inspiring. I was the houseguest of a Guatemalan family, and I felt privileged to be a small part of their lives for a short period of time. It was an incredible life experience, and it reminded me that it’s never too late to travel and follow your dreams!
