NOTE: Vista partners with 1EdTech (formerly the IMS Global) to support many of its integration standards, including Thin Common Cartridge, OneRoster CSV, and LTI 1.3 (Advantage). Availability may vary by Vista program, and certain restrictions may apply for integrations services. Contact your rep to learn more.
Learning Tools Interoperability 1.3 Advantage (LTI-A)
LTI-A is Vista’s most robust vhlcentral integration option for most common school LMS Platforms, including Blackboard, Canvas, D2L / Brightspace, Moodle, and Powerschool / Schoology. LTI-A enables schools to choose among a variety of vhlcentral integration services, including single sign-on, automated account rostering and course creation, content “deep” linking, and grade exchange. Vista is proud to have vhlcentral listed as a 1EdTech Certified platform.

Roster Assistant (OneRoster)
Roster Assistant enables school districts using a Student Information System (SIS), such as Powerschool, or integration service, such as Classlink, to exchange teacher, student, and course data automatically and securely with vhlcentral. Optionally, school districts can include single sign‐on solutions (SSO) with Roster Assistant to enable teachers and students to access vhlcentral directly from their school portal. Roster Assistant uses OneRoster CSV files—the common standard for SIS and Learning Management System (LMS) providers.

Clever
Since 2015, Vista has partnered with Clever to provide rostering and single sign-on (SSO) integrations for vhlcentral. As part of this partnership, we are able to bring all your applications into one secure portal and provide SSO for everyone in the district.

Thin Common Cartridge
A Thin Common Cartridge (TCC) provides links to selected vhlcentral course content, including the textbook, workbook, and other resources. Cartridges can be implemented within most common Learning Management System (LMS) platforms, enabling schools to implement that content within their LMS courses.

The Share to Google Classroom button provides teachers with a streamlined experience to create assignment, announcement, and question and material posts within their Google Classroom using vhlcentral learning activities and assessments. Each vhlcentral activity and assessment then has its own associated button in Google Classroom.
